Tasks:
Volunteers will pick up trash and beautify the Heritage Rail Trail, as well as the surrounding neighborhood near the York College campus.
Meeting Spot:
Wolf Lawn 8:40AM-8:50AM for check-in and gathering with your Team Leader and group, then you will all walk together towards Heritage Rail Trail near Northside Commons.
Materials:
Gloves and trash bags will be provided by Spartan Volunteer Network.
Transportation:
This is a walking opportunity.
Attire:
Please wear your SpartanServe shirts and bring a water bottle! Wear comfortable clothes for walking and bending; closed-toe shoes such as sneakers or boots. If you have a SpartanServe t-shirt from last year, please wear it. If you need a SpartanServe t-shirt, please stop by the Spartan Volunteer Network (Humanities 125) on Wednesday October 30th between 9:00am-4:00pm to pick-up your shirt.
