About the event: Join Beekeeping Club to create beautiful gardens along the intersection of Jackson Street and Pershing Avenue! In partnership with York City Public Works, Spartan Volunteer Network is hoping to enhance the aesthetic and functionality of these rain gardens.
Volunteer responsibilities: Volunteers will work together to create beautiful gardens at the intersections of Jackson St and Pershing Avenue, Jessop Place, and Manor St! This may include but is not limited to pulling plants off of trucks, planting, watering, cleaning up materials, and spotting for traffic. Five volunteers will be assigned to each rain garden.
Date & Time: Sunday April 21, 2024 from 3:00-5:30p
Supplied provided: All supplies will be provided for this project!
Location: The group will meet on-campus prior to the event and walk to Jackson Street together.
