- About Diakon: Diakon Adoption & Foster Care brings permanence to the lives of waiting children and youths. Through varying types of foster care and adoption, we focus on creating forever families, building the best possible union for both child and parent.
- About the event: Diakon will host in-person Foster Family Support Group meetings beginning in 2024. Support group is a time for training and conversation among foster parents.
- Volunteer responsibilities: Volunteers will provide childcare during a Foster Family Support Group meeting, so the parents can participate in the Support Group.
- Date and time: Tues, Jan 9, from 6-8:30pm
- This takes place during YCP's Winter Break.
- Supplies: Diakon will provide all supplies needed.
- Location: 836 South George Street, York, PA 17403
- This is a 5-10 minute walk from YCP's main campus.
- Transportation: Volunteers must provide their own transportation.
