- Location: Volunteers will meet at Union Lutheran Church, located at 408 W Market St, York, PA 17401
- Event date & time: Sunday, September 10, 11am-1pm
- Meal Provided: Volunteers are invited to join us for a meal at 11 a.m. before beginning our projects.
- Volunteer responsibilities: There will be multiple, co-occurring projects. Volunteers will be assigned to one or more of the following projects
- Pick up trash around the neighborhood, including the church grounds. Bags and gloves will be provided.
- Sort and organize clothing donations for our free community clothing room.
- Clean up various indoor areas of the church.
- Volunteer considerations:
- This project is hosted by a faith-based community partner. Volunteers are welcome to sign up regardless of their religious or non-religious backgrounds and beliefs.
- Supplies provided: All supplies will be provided by the Community Partner. We have gloves available, but recommend to bring your own if you have them.
- Transportation: This event is open to volunteers who can provide their own transportation. SVN staff will also work with volunteers to determine whether or not a carpool will be available. If a carpool becomes available, volunteers will be contacted and this listing will be updated.
