About us: Devers Community Garden is a neighborhood bird garden with all native plants. There are learning stations throughout the garden about the flowers, birds, & insects. We also have a free little library, a dog library, and a giving tree that neighbors change out throughout the seasons.
- Event overview: We will be decorating the garden for Christmas and winter. The organizer for this event (Leslie Rogers) will provide hot cocoa and cookies. Bundle up, put your creativity to work, and let's have a fun morning!
- Location: Intersection of Pacific Ave & Parkway Blvd, York, PA 17404
- Date & time: Saturday, 12/2, from 10am-12pm
- Volunteer requirements: Wear closed-toed shoes and warm clothing!
- Supplies provided: All supplies will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gardening gloves if they have any.
- Transportation: This event is open to volunteers who can provide their own transportation. SVN staff will also work with volunteers to determine whether or not a carpool will be available. If a carpool becomes available, volunteers will be contacted and this listing will be updated.
