Volunteers will meet at Devers Community Garden. The volunteer group will split into two teams:
- Team 1
- Add summer plants and seeds to the community garden.
- Help to install a Free Little Library at Devers Community Garden. Learn more about Free Little Libraries here.
- The Free Little Library project will involve lifting some heavy materials. Those who sign up for this team should be able to comfortably lift heavy materials.
- Team 2
- Head to Yorktown Park (a short distance from Devers Community Garden).
- Volunteers will paint 4 benches in the park. 3 benches need a final coat, and volunteers will have the opportunity to add some dazzle to the 4th bench!
- Volunteers will paint a sign for the Free Little Library.
All supplies will be provided, along with drinks and snacks!
** Volunteers must be able to provide their own transportation to sign up for this event!**
