Dear York College Students & Employees:
YCP and the broader York community have long enjoyed a close partnership, collaborating to enrich the lives of students and residents alike. A special celebration at the York Fairgrounds is planned for July 4 to celebrate America's 250th and "Explore York" is seeking 5-10 YCP students and/or employees to serve as ambassadors. What a great way to support a terrific community event and meet lots of amazing people. And students, this is something truly memorable to add to your resume!
We're still finalizing details for the July 4th Cultural Fair, but we'll need hands-on help with things like table & chairs setup, vendor support, crowd flow, and staffing the Explore York booth. You will talk with guests, help with the raffle entries, or pass our FREE Maple Donuts! We'll confirm your specific role a few days before the event.
Time: 8 a.m. (Start and end times can be flexible if we have enough volunteers. The fair ends at noon; the parade ends at 2 p.m)
