Volunteer at Church and Court Garden during SpartanServe! This garden appears to be a big weedy lot, but in reality it is full of native pollinators and serves the area as a native pollinator sanctuary. Volunteers will be helping prepare the garden for the fall and winter, including trimming older branches and plants, adding to the compost pile, and digging. Volunteers should wear weather appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes. All tools and gloves will be provided. Volunteers are welcome to bring their own gardening gloves. There are no restrooms at this location.
All volunteers must complete the YFFF Community Gardens Volunteer Registration and Release form. If you are unable to complete this wavier beforehand, copies will be available day of.

Where: 335 South Court Street and 34 East Church Avenue, York, PA 17401 | Located directly being Our Daily Bread which is located on South George Street.
Transportation: Volunteers must provide their own transportation for this opportunity. Carpooling is highly encouraged due to limited parking.

Apparel: Volunteers should wear their SpartanServe t-shirts. If you do not have a t-shirt from previous years, please stop by the Spartan Volunteer Network (HUM125) on Wednesday, October 15th between 8:00am-4:30pm to pick one up.
