About Union
Lutheran Church
We at Union Lutheran Church believe that we are called to share Jesus' love
with our ever-changing, diverse community, as we grow together in Christ. We
welcome everyone seeking God’s love and grace to participate fully no matter
what you look like, where you’re from, whom you love, how much money you have,
or whatever other labels we use to divide ourselves. We welcome all gender
identities, gender expressions, sexual orientations, ages, races, abilities,
and socio-economic
statuses.
Event
Overview
Twice a month — on the 2nd and 5th Saturdays — Union Lutheran Church offers
a free Community Breakfast from 8:00–9:30 a.m. Alongside breakfast, our free
community clothing room is open to anyone in need. The WELL Food Pantry is also
open from 8:30–10:30 a.m.
Volunteer Roles
- Cook or serve breakfast
- Greet and welcome community members
- Clean up after the meal
- Assist guests in the clothing room
Details
- Arrival: Cooks arrive at 7:15 a.m. All other volunteers by 7:45 a.m. (Later arrival possible with prior notice.)
- Entrance: Use the doors from the back parking lot.
- Supplies: All provided by Union Lutheran Church.
- Transportation: Volunteers provide their own.
