Olive Branch Healing (OBH) is seeking a passionate, organized, and people-oriented Volunteer Coordinator to join our mission of creating inclusive, healing spaces through the power of horses. The Volunteer Coordinator will play a key role in cultivating a welcoming and efficient volunteer program, ensuring that each person feels valued and equipped to contribute meaningfully to our vision.
Key/Primary Responsibilities:
- Learn and correctly execute the basic barn chores necessary to care for the herd on a daily basis
- Provide orientation and training to ensure volunteers understand OBH’s mission, safety protocols, and expectations
- Recruit, screen, and onboard new volunteers for a variety of roles, including barn assistance, event and program support and outreach
- Support volunteer appreciation and recognition efforts
- Track volunteer hours and participation to assist with reporting and storytelling
- Collaborate with OBH leadership to identify and fulfill volunteer needs for events, programs, and day-to-day operations.
- Maintain clear and thorough communication with the co-founders/program directors of Olive’s Branch Healing
