Union Lutheran Evangelical Church is opening up an after school youth program at our East campus located at 700 East Market Street, and we are seeking motivated volunteers to help! You are welcome to sign up to volunteer even if only available a few times a month. The volunteer roles we are looking to fill are as follows:
- Door/Hall monitor
- Assistant with Sports
- Assistant with life skills / guided activity
- Assistant in the Hangout Room
- Cook
- Arts/Crafts/Music
This opportunity will be working with youth in grades 4-6 on Monday’s, Wednesday’s, & Friday’s from 3:00pm-6:30pm. All volunteers will be required to have a state criminal background check, state child abuse clearance check, and FBI clearance (if you have not lived in PA for the last 10 years). We do accept clearances if you already have them for work or another volunteer site. Clearances must be within the last two years.
