Friends of Lebanon Cemetery will be partnering with the Pennsylvania Archaeological Council, PA State Historic Preservation Society and Dr. Benjamin Ford to conduct a a pedestrian survey, GPS mapping, and photographing of Lebanon Cemetery using professional-grade GPS units, cell phones, and tablets to create a GIS database of the cemetery and a publicly-accessible digital map. The event is rain or shine, so dress accordingly. Lunch will be provided and restrooms will be available. We need volunteers to assist with the actual data collection, host the volunteer registration table, and assist with set up and tear down of canopies.
