Some are carefully sorted for basketry and other weaving crafts, while others are bundled for erosion control projects or transformed into biochar. From creating locally sourced materials to restoring the land, willows play a vital role in advancing our regenerative vision. This two day competition begins early Saturday morning (8am) and runs through the evening, ending around 9pm. The second day begins early, around 8am, and will conclude mid afternoon. We need volunteers to help with set up and break down, account running, and rink monitoring. Volunteer training will be held prior to the competition so you will know exactly what to do when you arrive on the day of the competition. -Account Runners- This position requires a bit more physical activity. You will be transporting documentation from the judges in the rink to the accountants upstairs where data will be imported in the computer and copied.
