Opportunities From: Spartan Volunteer Network

Volunteer: Seeking volunteers to documenting burials dating back from 1890's!

Prospect Hill Cemetery (PHC) was loaned burial records from Strack Funeral Home. Strack FH owned several lots at PHC. We are working to document all the burials for PHC and Potter's Field in a spreadsheet and then cross-referencing with the records to try and give names to those buried on the Strack lots labeled, "buried no marker". If you're interested in assisting with this project, please respond to this opportunity and share your availability in the "response notes". Volunteer scheduling is flexible between the hours of 8:30am-4:30pm.

Volunteer: COV and SafeKeepers Shrine Ceremony

Sunday, September 13, 2026 at 1pm from the PA Avenue side of the cemetery, we will hold a ceremony honoring our local veterans that have received medals of valor or heroism and First Responders that have died in the line of duty.  This opportunity would be to assist in marketing of the event prior to the event, fundraising as this event is at no cost to the honorees or attendees and looking for exhibits to attend. Scheduling is flexible, please reach out to Alicia if interested in volunteering.
