Social Activity volunteers provide social interaction with residents and possibly family members in the form of conversation, sitting with residents at meal time, playing cards or board games, reading aloud, doing crafts, and engaging in other activities. Sharing your musical talents by singing or playing an instrument, whether a “concert” or “sing-along.” Writing letters… and just listening or sitting quietly as needed. If any of this interaction is something that you enjoy, we’d love to have you.
