Student Volunteers Needed The American Veterans Honor and Reflective Remembrance Committee (AVHRRC) is seeking student volunteers for our Annual Veterans Commemoration Event on October 3, 2026, at the Normandie Ridge Community Center.
Volunteer Hours: 11:00 AM – 3:30 PM
This is an excellent opportunity to earn community service hours while honoring and serving our nation's veterans.
Volunteer Duties May Include: Manning the registration table.
Greeting guests and handing out favor bags.
Assisting with photography and videographyServing cookies and dessertsAssisting handicapped and mobility-impaired veterans with mealsHelping guests find seating and navigate the eventAssisting with general event operations.
Helping with cleanup following the event, if available. Students, National Honor Society members, scouting organizations, church youth groups, and community service clubs are encouraged to participate. Your support will help make this special day memorable for the veterans who have served our country.
