- About the organization: York County Locollaborative (Yoco Locol) works to improve the overall well-being and development of the local community, including infrastructure projects and social initiatives.
- About the event: Yoco Locol's 2nd annual Community Cleanup event will be focused on the Northwest neighborhood of York City.
- Volunteer responsibilities: Volunteers will pick up trash and help to beautify the Northwest neighborhood of York City. We'll split into two teams, each under the guidance of a designated leader.
- Volunteer requirements: Wear comfortable shoes and clothes! The route is about 1.5 miles.
- Supplies provided: Yoco Locol will provide gloves, bags, and vests for all volunteers, but you're welcome to bring your own as well!
- Transportation: Volunteers are free to arrange their own transportation. SVN staff will also reach out to coordinate a carpool, if possible.
- Meeting time & location: Volunteers should arrive by 10 am. Volunteers will meet at Foundry Plaza (234 W Clarke Ave, York, PA 17401), which is just over a mile from the YCP main campus.
- Signup instructions: This is 2-STEP signup process for SVN volunteers. Both steps are required.
- First, sign up through the SVN portal by clicking "respond" below. This will make sure that SVN staff can contact you as needed regarding transportation, event changes, and anything else that comes up.
- Second, complete this Eventbrite form to register for the event. This will allow the Community Partner to connect you with a team. Pre-registered volunteers will receive a voucher for a complimentary coffee/pastry from Prince Street Cafe!
