Mission: Together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Make-A-Wish® Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia grants wishes in 57 counties in western, central and northeastern Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Volunteer responsibilities: We need volunteers to help sell raffle tickets and to help in our registration line at our Cheers for Wishes event.
Date & time: Thursday, November 2, from 5:15pm - 9:30pm
Location: Wyndam Garden, 2000 Loucks Rd, York, PA
Transportation: Volunteers must be able to provide their own transportation to and from this event.
Considerations:
- Partial shifts: Volunteers WILL be permitted to arrive late or leave early if they are not available to be there for the full shift.
- ID required: Volunteers who are 21+ may be assigned to help in the vendor section of the event, where alcohol will be served. Volunteers who are under 21 will NOT be assigned to the vendor section. Please bring your license or state ID with you.
- Purchasing dinner: The cost of dinner is not covered for volunteers. If you would like to have access to the dinner that evening, you will need to purchase a ticket for the event. Otherwise, we ask that you eat dinner prior to volunteering for this event.
