About the organization: Spartan Volunteer Network and Beekeeping Club have collaborated to beautify the rain gardens along Jackson St intersections as part of the annual SpartanGreen event.
About the event: This opportunity involves the maintenance of the rain gardens. It may not take the duration of the listed time period.
Volunteer responsibilities: Volunteers will be asked to water the rain gardens. There are water jugs available in Humanities 125. These jugs can be refilled on campus. Watering may required multiple trips between Campus and Jackson St to fully complete the task. Garbage cleanup can be done along the way as well!
Volunteer requirements: Volunteers should wear appropriate clothing for this type of work and closed-toed shoes.
Date & time: Wednesday May 1st, 2024 from 2:00-3:00pm
Supplies provided: Cloth gloves are available for pickup in Humanities 125 (if needed).
Location: Please meet in Humanities 125 by 1:50pm to check-in and collect supplies. The group will then walk to the Jackson St intersections together.
