- About York New Salem Fire Company: We provide comprehensive fire fighting, extrication, rescue, and fire prevention education services to York New Salem Borough, PA and the surrounding areas from our station located on East George Street in York New Salem Borough, York County, PA. We are non-profit organization, with 100% volunteer staffing and all of our department's apparatuses, firefighting gear, and response equipment are purchased utilizing funds received through community donations.
- About the event: This bingo event is a large-scale fundraiser for York New Salem Fire Company. We are expecting about 200 participants.
- Volunteer responsibilities: Volunteers will prep and sell food, welcome guests, give out winnings, and assist with event clean-up.
- Schedule:
- This is an all-day event, going from 11:30am-6pm.
- If you would like to attend, but you need to arrive late and/or leave early, that's okay! Just make sure to include your availability in the comments box when you sign up.
- Supplies: The Community Partner will provide all supplies.
- Transportation: SVN staff will reach out to volunteers to coordinate a carpool, if possible. Volunteers are free to drive themselves.
