Join us for a community cleanup event in the Salem Square neighborhood, located right across the river from the York College campus! YCP volunteers may be joined by community members and local organizations as well.
Here are the details:
- Community Partner: This event is being organized by the YCP Urban Collaborative. Please contact Ashley Hines (ahines3@ycp.edu) or Jada Richardson (jrichar8@ycp.edu) with questions.
- Time & date: 1pm on Saturday, December 3
- Meeting location: Lincoln Charter School (559 W King St, York, PA 17401)
- Transportation: Transportation will not be provided. Volunteers should plan to walk or to provide their own transportation.
- Weather: This is a rain or shine event! Please dress appropriately for the weather.
- Supplies: We'll provide gloves, trash bags, masks (as needed), hand sanitizer, water, and snacks. Volunteers are also invited to bring their own supplies!
Please note: during this Community Cleanup event, volunteers are discouraged from picking up anything that may be unsafe for them to pick up or carry. This includes sharp objects, needles, biohazardous materials, etc.
