Volunteer at Thrive Through Peace Healing Garden during SpartanGreen weekend! Volunteers will be weeding, mulching, edging, painting garden decorations, and more!
When: Saturday, April 18th | Shift 1: 9:00-11:30am; Shift 2: 12:00-2:00pm - Please note that there are two shifts for this opportunity. You are welcome to register for one or both shifts.
Where: 1101 PA-74, York, PA 17403 | Garden is in the fenced in yard attached to a residential building at the intersection of South Queen Street and Irving Road. Volunteers should use the side entrance to the lot along the wooden fence line, following the signage.
Transportation & parking: Volunteers must provide their own transportation for this opportunity. Street parking is available on the roads adjacent to the garden. Please contact volunteer@ycp.edu with any questions or concerns.
Attire: Volunteers should wear the green t-shirt provided by the Spartan Volunteer Network as well as closed toe shoes and clothing that can get dirty. All materials will be provided.
