Summary: The Troop Activity Chaperons assist with their girl’s troops in a variety of ways, depending on the needs of the Troop Leader.
Responsibilities:
- Help plan or coordinate troop meetings when necessary. (Or count towards ratio)
- Provide or serve a snack
- Serve as a field trip chaperone
- Support the troop with other activities as determined by the troop leader.
- Uphold the Girl Scout Promise and Law
Position Commitments:
- Maintain a current GSHPA membership.
- Complete all required background checks
- Comply with GSHPA policies, Standards and Guidelines, Safety Activities Checkpoints, Volunteer Essentials, and GSUSA Policies
Required Training:
- CPR
- First Aid
This position will be supported by: GSHPA Staff Liaison, and your Girl Scout Troop Leader.
