- About Diakon: Diakon Adoption & Foster Care brings permanence to the lives of waiting children and youths. Through varying types of foster care and adoption, we focus on creating forever families, building the best possible union for both child and parent.
- About the event: Diakon hosts Foster Family Support Group meetings. Support group is a time for training and conversation among foster parents.
- Volunteer responsibilities: Volunteers will provide childcare during a Foster Family Support Group meeting, so the parents can participate in the Support Group.

- Supplies: Diakon will provide all supplies needed.
