- About the organization | Community Progress Council (CPC) provides comprehensive, integrated services that offer resources and support for individuals and families to move toward economic self-sufficiency.
- About the event | CPC hosts a weekly class for community members called Getting Ahead.
- Volunteer responsibilities | Volunteers would provide childcare each week for the families who participate in the Getting Ahead class. Lunch is provided for all volunteers.
- Volunteer schedule | This class meets once each week, on Mondays 5-7pm.
- Location | Getting Ahead meets at Heidelberg Church, located at 47 W Philadelphia Street, York, PA 17401.
- Transportation | Volunteers must be able to provide their own transportation.
- Supplies | CPC will provide all supplies needed.
- Requirements | All volunteers must submit up-to-date clearances to Stephanie Romero at SRomero@yorkcpc.org. The clearances needed are listed below. Application links are included.
- Child Abuse history clearance (free)
- PA Access to Criminal History (PATCH) background check (free)
- FBI fingerprinting ($23.25)
