Volunteer: Troop Activity ChaperoneSummary: The Troop Activity Chaperons assist with their girl’s troops in a variety of ways, depending on the needs of the Troop Leader.Responsibilities:Help plan or coordinate troop meetings when necessary. (Or count towards ratio)Provide or serve a snackServe as a field trip chaperoneSupport the troop with other activities as determined by the troop leader.Uphold the Girl Scout Promise and LawPosition Commitments:Maintain a current GSHPA membership.Complete all required background checksComply with GSHPA policies, Standards and Guidelines, Safety Activities Checkpoints, Volunteer Essentials, and GSUSA PoliciesRequired Training:CPRFirst AidThis position will be supported by: GSHPA Staff Liaison, and your Girl Scout Troop Leader.Volunteers must provide their own transportation for this opportunity.
