Volunteer at the 2nd Annual Pedal for a Purpose Bike Rally!
Join Children's Home of York as a volunteer for our 2nd Annual Pedal for a Purpose Bike Rally on Saturday, September 26, 2026, and help make a difference in the lives of children and families in our community.
We're looking for enthusiastic York College students to assist at our rest stops along the bike route. Each volunteer will be assigned to a designated location where they will greet riders, hand out water, sports drinks, and snacks, provide encouragement, and help ensure participants have a safe and enjoyable experience.
No cycling experience is required—just a positive attitude and a willingness to support a great cause!
Volunteer Responsibilities:
-Staff a designated rest stop along the bike route
-Distribute water, sports drinks, and snacks to riders
-Cheer on participants and provide a welcoming atmosphere
-Help keep the rest stop clean and organized
-Follow instructions from Children's Home of York event staff
Your time will directly support Children's Home of York's mission to empower children, strengthen families, and enrich our community through life-changing mental health, foster care, adoption, and family support services.
