About the camp: Camp Cann-Edi-On is nestled in the horseshoe of the Conewago Creek and is part of the long tradition of camping at YWCA York. The Camp Cann-Edi-On program provides an opportunity to connect with friends and make new ones while enjoying the benefits of the outdoors! Learn more here.  Volunteer responsibilities: Get ready to roll up your sleeves! The clean-up includes cleaning our recreation hall, cafeteria, and bathrooms, as well as litter pick up around the camp grounds, and minor landscaping work. If there is heavy rain during this project, volunteers will complete indoor volunteer needs. Date & time: Saturday, 10/18, from 9 am-12:00pm (including travel time) Supplies provided: The community partner will provide all supplies that are needed for this project. Location & transportation Volunteers must provide their own transportation for this opportunity. Carpools can be arranged as needed. York’s Quantum Opportunity Program (QOP) is a free after-school program open to all students in grades 8-12, receiving free or reduced lunch, living in the City of York. QOP provides one-on-one and group mentoring and focuses on three areas: academic achievement, community service and personal growth.
