This opportunity will include digging holes to put seedlings in. Volunteers should wear appropriate clothing and footwear for walking in the forest and planting trees. Volunteers will be doing general garden cleanup tasks, including pulling weeds, cleaning up around fence lines, moving straw bales, closing down the garden for the fall, etc, which will require lifting, bending, and carrying items. Volunteers should wear weather appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes. All tools and gloves will be provided. Volunteers are welcome to bring their own gardening gloves. There are no restrooms at this location. All volunteers must complete the YFFF Community Gardens Volunteer Registration and Release form.
