York New Salem Fire Company #1

We are men and women from the local community. We are nurses, cooks, construction workers, students, and more. We are people who want to help others, and want to help the people who help others.

We go into the community to help people. Not only if there is a fire, but also car accidents, medical emergencies, and much more. In order to do that we have fundraisers, these finance our training and equipment, as well as brings the community together for fun and exciting events. Our fundraisers consists of weekly Bingos, boot drives, chicken BBQ’s and holiday specific events such as breakfast with Santa, parades, and more.
