Horn Farm Center for Agricultural Education

Who We Are

Born out of the successful effort to save the farm from industrial development in 2000, the Horn Farm Center is a community-rooted nonprofit focused on ecological land stewardship, experiential education, and community partnership.

What We Do

The Horn Farm Center is committed to restoring ecological health to both the fields and semi-wild spaces on the farm while providing nutritious food to our community. Our programs encourage others to learn to do the same. Some ways we engage the community and activate our mission of education and land stewardship include:

  • Healing soils, waters, and ecological balance across our 186 acres.
  • Offering workshops throughout the year that explore land-based skills, ecological literacy, and (re)connection to nature.
  • Teaching our signature intensive training programs to a growing community of earth-tending practitioners.
  • Providing educational volunteer opportunities in our woodlands, wild edges, and regenerative farm fields.
  • Promoting community-supported agriculture through a yearly CSA providing fresh, nutritious, and regeneratively-grown food to our community.
  • Hosting annual events and outreach that celebrate environmental awareness and our bioregion.
